The shipping extensions supports all shipping methods offered by GLS. I.e. the shipping extension supports the following carrier methods: normal, Express10 service (delivery before 10), Express12 service (delivery before 12), international and delivery to parcel shops. It is possible to create overlapping shipping rates, and thereby give the user a choice between multiple rates. Eg. it is possible to offer the user the choice between: Express10 service delivery to 99 -, normal shipping to 49 - or pickup at a local GLS parcel shop for 39 -.

Show a list of local parcel shops

Having packages sent to a local GLS parcel shop, is a very popular shipping method in Denmark. Doing checkout the customer chooses which local parcel shop the customer would like to pickup the package. When the shipment has arrived at the local parcel shop, the customer can go down and do a pickup.

Our GLS shipping shipping extension is fully integrated with GLS parcel shop. The shipping extension presents a list of local parcel sohp, based on an entered zip code.

Multiple shipping rates

Besides the possibility to present all available parcel shops for the customer, the shipping extension gives access to a comprehensive shipping rates setup. It is thus possible to set individual rates based on a combination of country, zip code, region and one of the functions " Weight by destination", " price by destination" or "Number of items by destination".

This functionality gives the shop administrator full control of the shipping rates, while the end customers has a variety of shipping rates to choose from . An example might be that you want to differentiate shipping rates based on the number of items and the country the goods are being sent to - this is possible with our GLS shipping extension.

Export to Interline

Our GLS shipping shipping extension is integrated with the Interline system created by GLS. This means that the GLS shipping extension can export all order data to the label printing system - saving you time and money. The Interline system allows the user to quickly and easily print package labels with the correct information, and frees you from annoying typos . The export is done by creating a CSV file that can be imported directly into Interline - either through a manual import or through the Interline feature called Silent Mode. The shipping extension can also be configured to automatically create a CSV file based on the status of the order, or you can choose to export orders manually via Magento 's order history .

Please note that the Interline system is a system that is offered by GLS and is not supported by more-mage.com
