Functions & prerequisites

The sobu Magento extension makes it possible to integrate a Magento shop into the sobu network.

The prerequisite for this is that Magento has been installed and a valid contract with the sobu platform has been signed. You can find further details at: https://www.sobu.ch/en/partner

The extension implements the following sobu features:

• Share function on the order confirmation page
• Share function in the order confirmation e-mail
• Share function in the order history section of the user account
• Users can track purchases (transfer of e-mails)
• sobu-specific discounts

Configuration

After successful installation, you will find the basic configuration in the Magento Admin Panel under System > Configuration > Sales > sobu.ch. Here you can enter the personal API key from the sobu portal and generate the RSA key for encrypting communication.

First enter the API keys from the sobu portal and save the configuration. Then generate the RSA key by clicking on “Generate RSA key”. The public key that then appears in the field must be copied into your sobu shop profile.

Enter the value of the acquired customer’s voucher in the voucher value field (CHF). The commission is the agent’s commission stored in sobu. These values are later applied to the share banners and the information pages.

This concludes the module’s basic configuration.

Managing credits

A shopping cart price rule must be applied in order for a discount to be offered to customers acquired via sobu.
Under “Conditions“ select “sobu benefit code” and assign an advertising code for this that you will later store in sobu. Then configure the discounts within the shopping cart price rule as usual.

Next the voucher for the advertiser must be defined in your sobu shop profile under “Managing credits” and a credit advice for sharing the purchases must be issued. Enter the following address in the “Link to credit” field:

http://www.example.ch/sobu/share/link/code/benefitcode
www.example.ch = your shop’s basic URL
If your store has several views/languages, the store code
must be added here if applicable (e.g. www.example.ch/en/)

benefitcode = benefit code stored in the shopping cart price rule

Durch die sobu Magento Extension ist es möglich einen Magento-Shop in das sobu Netzwerk zu integrieren.

Konfiguration

Nach erfolgreichen Installation finden Sie in der Magento-Administration unter System > Konfiguration > Verkäufe > sobu.ch die Basis-Konfiguration. Hier geben Sie die persönlichen API-Schlüssel aus dem sobu-Portal ein und generieren den RSA-Key zur Verschlüsselung der Kommunikation.

Tragen Sie zunächst die API-Keys aus dem sobu-Portal ein und speichern die Konfiguration. Danach generieren Sie den RSA-Key durch einen Klick auf „Generate RSA Key“. Der anschließend im Feld erscheinende Public Key muss in Ihr sobu-Shopprofil kopiert werden. Damit ist die Grundkonfiguration abgeschlossen.
