Enables short url functionality on your Magento site for use on Twitter and other social networking sites. Examples of these urls include:

http://dreystone.com/s30agm and http://dreystone.com/cbkowv7

There is a major SEO advantage when you use your Magento site instead of an external URL shortening service -- your site now has direct links from the hosting site instead of promoting the URL shortening service website.

How to Use:

After you install this extension, please clear cache and log into the Admin. You can access the features of this extension by navigating to:

Admin > CMS > Dreystone Short URLs

When you create a new Short URL, a randomly generated token will be created for you (and is guaranteed to be unique), or you can modify the token to create your own. Once you setup the target URL and test the links to make sure they work correctly, you can publish the link on Twitter or other social networking sites.
