PWS Contact Lens Prescription

Overview

Custom Module (Extension) for adding contact lens prescription (Power (Sphere), Base Curvature (BC), Diameter, Cylinder, Axis, Add, Color) to a product.

The customer can enter this prescription in a special form on the product view page for left/right eye or only for one eye. The prescription is saved as a Magento custom product option and is visible on the order email, customer order details and on Magento admin order details.

Features:

  1. The contact lens attributes are configurable in admin for every product, one can add as many option values, each option can have an extra price
  2. The Power, Diameter, BC, etc options are added as product attributes - type select. Their values can be changed(add/update/remove) from Magento Manage Attributes section. The selected options are displayed in the contact lens form in a dropdown. If an attribute doesn't have any option selected then the attribute is not displayed in the product contact Lens form
  3. The customer can select between filling in the prescription for Right/Left eye or just for one eye. If both eyes (Left (OS)/Right (OD)) option is selected then two products are added to cart.
