What is Zapper for eCommerce Login and Register?

This product allows new e-users to merely scan a QR Code on a Zapper-supported website with the Zapper App and they're instantly registered or logged-in to a website. When users login to websites with Zapper, they securely pass the registration details from their profile on their Zapper App to the website. There is no longer a need for registration forms, usernames or passwords.

Website Owner:

Zapper for eCommerce Login and Register: Process for Site owners

In order for website owners to use Zapper for eCommerce™, the website owner registers as a merchant with Zapper. This will allow the owner to customize the desired login fields required from users to login and register to the website using Zapper for eCommerce™. Custom fields can include fields such as First Name, Last Name and Email address and any other field required to register and login to the website.

Zapper for eCommerce Login and Register: How it works

A new visitor to the Zapper-supported site

• A new visitor scans the QR Code on the website with the Zapper app with an existing QR code scanner.
• The required fields will be chosen by the site owner when they register as a merchant on the Zapper website. The user is prompted to complete these fields on their Zapper App when scanning the QR code.
• If the visitor has previously completed their profile on the Zapper app they will already have all, or most of the fields saved on their device and these will automatically be passed to your website's registration fields at scan.
• Any additional fields that your site may require will be prompted for at this point on the visitor's device.
• The completed registration data is then passed to your site's backend and the visitor will be registered on your website.
• The visitor will then automatically be logged into the site without having to type anything into the actual site.
• The registration information is stored securely on the mobile device, using 128-bit SSL encryption, making subsequent logins to the site quick and easy for the user.

A visitor who has already registered on your site will scan the QR Code for the first time.

• The visitor is prompted on their mobile device for the username and password for your website.
• The visitor enters these login credentials on the device and is automatically logged into your site without typing anything into the website.
• The login information is stored securely on the mobile device, using 128-bit SSL encryption, making subsequent logins to the site quick and easy for the user.
