Samples

Have requests for samples and no easy way to handle it via Magento? With our module Samples, you now have a easy way to mark line items as samples and include a postfix for those items.

The module Samples does the following:

• - Adds a column during Admin Checkout called Samples with a check box.
• - When check box ticked off, it reduces price of that item to $0.00.
• - When item is marked as sample and checkout is completed, it'll add a optional postfix (IE: -SAMPLES)
• - Module config allows you to enable/disable module, edit the postfix to any text you'd like, and edit the Column Name to your liking.

 

All your order invoices, packing slips, and emails will reference this "Sample" item with it's postfix. So your customers, admin staff, and order fulfillment staff will all be on the same page.
