CyberSource latest payment gateway offering for retailers, Secure Acceptance, provides retailers the power of CyberSource over a very secure channel without requiring the retailers eCommerce system to handle credit card data. Secure Acceptance allows merchants to store HTML order forms on their web servers, allowing the customer to easily enter their payment data into the fields; including name, shipping address and account number. As these payment fields are hosted by CyberSource therefore all payment data entered bypasses your network entirely. The captured data is instead transmitted directly from the customer’s browser to CyberSource for processing. The merchant then receives a response from CyberSource to inform them whether or not the transaction was successful. There are many benefits to this payment processing method such as reduced PCI DSS Scope, it is global and mobile ready, as well as being fully integrated with 1 Click Checkout.
