StrongTics Handle404 creates automatic redirects for 404 traffic and page suggestions when matches are not found for disable CMS pages, products and categories providing better user experience to your customer.It gives you more controls over your dead links and allows you to easily create 301 and 302 redirects to valid pages and flexibility to choose the redirect landing pages.
Module Compatibility:
The extension doesn't impact or require any change of Magento default core files, additional templates files or whatever.StrongTics Handle404 extension have been carefully tested and it full supports Magento Community and Enterprise Edition.
Module Features:
It is fully customisable, you've got possibility to:
- Type of 404 handling:
Disabled 404 CMS pages, Disabled 404 products pages, Disabled 404 categories pages
- Configurable redirect code:
Using redirects status codes are: Permanent redirection (301) or Temporary redirection (302)
Module Set up Requirements:
The module is very easy to setup. There are 3 sections to configure related to type of 404 types to handling
- Disabled categories redirections setting
1- Enable or disable easily redirections for disabled categories,
2- Choose the landing category,
3- Set the redirect status code. Default is 302 (temporary redirection).
- Disabled products redirections setting
1- Enable or disable easily redirections for disabled products,
2- Choose or not to Redirect to one of product current assigned categories,
3- Or choose a landing category.
4- Set the redirect status code. Default is 302 (temporary redirection).
- Disabled CMS pages redirections setting
1- Enable or disable easily redirections for disabled cms pages,
2- Choose the landing page, default is home page.
3- Set the redirect status code. Default is 302 (temporary redirection).
