Mos Royal Mail

Mos Royal Mail shipping extension is a premium extension which lets you offer Royal Mail shipping rates to your customers automatically without the need for an API. This extension contains the Royal Mail prices and services since Royal Mail do not provide a public API. Although this extension primarily works with mm and g, other units are converted automatically! Currently Royal Mail can calculate rates for UK domestic.

How to use?

• - Download and install the package.
• - Logout/Login from admin and clear the cache.
• - Go to System -> Configuration -> Shipping Methods -> Royal Mail Shipping Method (Domestic Shipping) (Developed by Ministryofsolutionz.com)
• - Configure available options as per your requirements
• - Don't forget to choose Ship to applicable countries - Specific countries and Ship to Specific countries - United Kingdom as this extension currently supports Domestic Shipping rates only.

- Provides the UK Royal Mail shipping rates without the need for an API. This extension contains the Royal Mail prices and services since Royal Mail do not provide a public API

- Supported Weight Units - Kilogram(Kg), Grams(g), Pounds(lb)

- Select Size Format - Letter, Large Letter, Small Parcel, Medium Parcel

- Available Shipping Methods - Select the shipping options that you would like to appear to the customer as an option. Any options that are not selected will not be presented to the customer.

- Handling Fee and Type - This is a global handling fee that is added on top of all shipping costs. You can either add a fixed fee or a percentage fee..

- Title - This is the title of the shipping method that the customer sees during checkout. Example: Royal Mail.

- Displayed Error Message option.

- Ship to applicable countries & Ship to Specific countries - Currently supports UK Domestic only.

• Customers will get quotes on two places; <ul>
• - The Cart page : by using the shipping calculator
• - The Checkout page: Methods available on checkout page. Works with one page checkout.

Troubleshooting

• No rates returned/no rates available <ul>
• - Check Royalmail configuration options are configured properly.
• - Check your products have weights set – without this the calculation cannot be performed.
• - Still no rates after checking above points. Contact us and we will fix the issue asap.
