Our Simple Shipping Estimate extension for Magento offers several alternatives for the default Shopping Cart shipping estimation block, which tends to over-complicate and therefore slow down the checkout process for most Magento webshops. You can choose from three simplified designs that all directly show the estimated shipping costs when arriving in the Shopping Cart and allow the customer to more easily select alternative shipping methods (if available).

The shipping cost will be instantly calculated based on the default shipping destination entered in the extension's configuration screen. You can choose to keep the default shipping estimate block with pre-calculated and pre-filled values, show a simple drop-down menu with available shipping methods, or completely hide the shipping estimation block, which is especially useful when there's only one shipping method available.
