Tool for creating the Image Slider

Banner slider is an extension which is useful for creating the image scroller or slider with several effects on it. This extension can be used when you are having various offers in your store. As the images of the products will be scrolling so it will become easy for the store admin to show best selling products images in the scroller. Beside administrator of the website can define which images will be displayed in the scrolle or slider. If store admin want to place the advertisement on it they can also place it by placing the image of the same.

Ready Made and Easy to Implement

Admin will just have to download the URL key for the extension from the Magento Store. After getting the key he/she is just simply required to go Magento Connect and install the module using the module installer of magento.

Native Look and Feel

Look and feel of the home page is very much similar to previous one or we can say magento's default. We have just added one more block to have an enhanced view of image scroller.

Features:

Banner Slider is having the below give features:

1) Interval: Time interval between two slides. 2) Auto play: It is used to set whether to play the slide automatically or manual. 3) Transition Type: Which type of effect you want in the slider. 4) Transition Time: Time which is taken by the image slider to slide from one slide to another. 5) Navigation: Whether to show the navigation button on the image or not. 6) Controls: This is usefull for navigation Forward, Back, and at particular image. 7) Captions: Whether to display the message on the image or not. 8) Pasue on Hover: Whether the sliding of the image sholud be stopped if mouse goes over the image or not. 9) Kye Board Control: Whether to change the slide of image on the base of the key pressed by the user. 10) Progress Timer: Generate a "whirling" progress timer element to mark progress until next transition occurs. Only available in browsers that support HTML5 canvas.

On addition to the above given features we have also given a seperate Menu tab for Slider which is named as Wlislider in magento admin panel. Form where admin of the store can manage the items or we can images which will scroll or slide in banner slider. It has below given features:

1) Title: Which ever title which admin feels is good can be kept with the image. 2) Banner: Here store admin is required to upload the image which he wants to scroll in the slider. Beside adding to this we have also kept the validation for the image upload it will accept .png,.jpg, and .jpeg files only. 3) Image Url: Here store admin is required to give the url for the image which ever uploaded. If any products image is there than you can give url of Product Detail View link over here. 4) Status: Here store admin is required to manage the status of the image that is which image to show in the slider and which to hide can managed through this status.
