Momento, the latest theme out of the Obox factory, is a WordPress Photography Theme with an emphasis on epic design and a scalable layout.
PORTFOLIO SECTION:
Show off your latest work with our special portfolio template page. The template offers three different column layouts to choose from.
SERVICES SECTION:
This theme is packaged with a great portfolio post type which allows you to list all your latest work. While designing the theme we realized that it was pointless only having a portfolio section if people couldn’t read about what you offer.
So we decided to pull the services design/code from our new Clean Cut theme and restyle it for Momento. The result is a dynamic template for you to add as much necessary information as you want!
When adding a service you can include a short title, icon as well as detailed copy including images and videos. In the services page you will see some slick jQuery effects being used for an awesome browsing experience. Check it out!
WIDGETIZED HOME PAGE:
Determine exactly how you want the layout of your home page to be. Include a feature slider, services, portfolio items and blog posts!
AMAZING SLIDER:
Creating a slider which caters for both landscape and portrait images has been a big challenge for us in the past. We have never quite cracked it until now. Functionality wise we spent a long time on making sure that the slider works for all types of photos. Numerous brain storming sessions took place on how to allow for both landscape and portrait images.
The solution is a responsive full-width slider which can also expand up / down at the click of a button. We thought of using a lightbox effect but felt that it would not be integrated enough, so we decided to take the concept of a lightbox and apply it to the slider itself.
The result is a slick and user friendly experience. So no matter what size photo you have uploaded – Momento can cater for it!
WORKS AS A STANDARD BLOG TOO!:
If you want to use this as a normal blog it is 100% possible, by simply choosing the “Blog Home Page” layout you can easily turn this site into a personal blog.
