Affiliate deduplication

Deduplication of conversions from your Affiliate Networks can be time consuming and often result in double payouts. This extension deduplicate networks based on utm_source tracking and put only a pixel for the last placed network cookie.

How it works

Set the cookie

If you place advertisments on (paid) networks (f.e. display advertisments) it's very common that you want to track traffic from those networks by using different utm_source tags. It's normal that affilliates receive a percentage of the order value, only orders placed by visitors from those affiliate networks.

This extension will set a cookie based on this utm_source tag if an affiliate visitor comes to your Magento webstore.

The idea is, if you have more then one affilliate network utm_source tag the cookie value will be overwritten each time the same vistor uses a different network with a utm_source to visit your webstore. The so called Last (Network) Cookie Counts.

Get the cookie

Pay only the affiliate network that set the last cookie.

To sent the affiliate network the order information a pixel is placed on the ordersucces page, This pixel sends the order value of the placed order to pay out the percentage.

This extension will only place a pixel on the order succes page a pre-configured CMS block match on the network name in the last cookie placed.

Your affiliates are now deduplicated. You save time and money because you know for sure only the last used network will receive the payment!
