Magento Cart Reservation Extension allows magento site customers to temporarily reserve products they have added to their carts. When a product is added to a cart it is going to be reserved for a certain amount of time. After this time expires the item will be available to other customers again. This extension is an easy-to use tool to monitor stock availability. If the product a customer wants is another man’s cart, he can either refresh the browser or check back on the item to see if it has become available. Besides, there are two types of magento cart timers available: you can either set a separate countdown timer for each product, or launch the reservation of all products in the cart. After the reservation time is over a product can be either deleted from the cart or left there yet unreserved.

The extension shows "reserved" or "in another member's cart" message on product page and product list pages, temporary replacing magento out of stock message The software supports various magento product types (Simple, Grouped, Virtual, Configurable, Downloadable) This tool works for different user account types - Guests and Logged users There are individual timers for single products and global timers for all items in cart. The extension allows you to remove products from customer’s cart after reservation time expires. Or the product will be marked as unreserved. Site admin can choose any reservation time for shopping cart and checkout page, or he can set unlimited reservation time and hide both timers. It is also possible to restart or continue the countdown timer for checkout page. Admin can also set custom countdown timer format and edit all reservation messages if necessary.
