An extension to implement a master password functionality, that allows you to login as any valid registered customer with one master password
Compatibility :
Tested with Magento Community Edition v1.7 and Magento Enterprise Edition v1.12.0.0
Features :
- The master password is not stored in the database.
- Only the MD5 hash of the password is stored for security.
Installation :
1. Install the extension from Magento Connect using the key which will copy the directories and files into your installation.
2. Refresh the cache.
3. Return to Admin.
4. Go to System - Cache Management - Select All - Select Action 'Refresh' - Submit
5. Browser to System - Configuration - DW Master Password
6. If 404 page found, than kindly log out from admin and login again and browse to the above page.
7. Set Enable to 'Yes' (If set to 'No' the functionality will be disabled)
8. Insert text in Master Password and click button 'Generate Hash'. (Note : This text to be remembered as it will not be stored)
9. The above text will automatically create a MD5 hash of the password.
10. Click 'Save Config' to store the hash in database.
11. Sign into the frontend using customer's email and password inserted in step 8
