Admin Order Comments Delete

This extension will allow the admin (merchant) to delete any Admin order comment or can provide authority to others (sub-admin) to delete the Admin order comment!

Unnecessary and mistaken comments can now easily be deleted with a click of mouse. It is armed with some useful features adding value to this extension! Let’s learn how this extension can be configured and the features it contains!

Admin Features

Admin order comment delete features
1. In this extension admin can delete Admin order comments from admin panel.
2. For that delete link has been added, which will also open a popup asking reason for deleting comment!
3. It will also display the name of person who has previously added comment for that particular order.
4. Admin can permit, which user can delete comment.
5. Only the assigned user can delete Admin order comment.
6. Provision to delete comment and check name of the person who has mentioned comment is also available.
7. One can delete only those comments which were entered from comment area box not any other notifications that were created while generating invoice, shipment etc.
8. Comment can be deleted from two points.
9. Here we have displayed some screen shots from which one can get idea how this extension will work.

Role and permissions module customization

1. To delete comment for any order authority and permissions will be provided from main admin.
2. Admin will provide permission to specific users for deleting Admin order comment.
3. There is provision that only those users will be able to delete comment who have been given permissions to delete Admin order comment
4. System->permissions->Roles->Users->Role resources->Custom

Admin order comment Delete Module

1. Ordercommentdelete->View Deleted Comments->Deleted Comment Log.
2. Here we have displayed log to delete Admin order comment. It also displays history of deleted comments, as below screen shot.

3. On clicking any row on grid comment, status can be checked that was deleted, which will include order Id, name of the person who entered comment, order status when it was deleted, and its created date – like in under displayed screen shot.
