Use Case

Magento administrators can create orders via the backoffice under Orders > + Create New Order. However, this requires a payment method to be available. Since not all payment methods can be used in the backend, this poses a problem. The Appmerce 'Admin Payment Method' extension solves this problem by providing a generic payment method which can be used for creating any backend orders.

How It Works

Simply install and configure the extension. Go to System > Configuration > Payment Methods > Appmerce Admin Payment Method to configure the options. After enabling the payment method you can select it on the 'Create New Order' screen.

Features

- choose a custom 'New Order Status', so you can create new admin orders with status 'Pending' or 'Processing';
- create invoices automatically after creating a new admin order;
- create shipment automatically after creating a new admin order. This also sets the status Complete;
