“Smarter Out of Stock” is a module that allows you to track potential conversions on products, which are out of stock, as well as to minimize the steps involved in allowing a customer to register for an email notification when a product comes back into stock.

With this module installed, products which are out of stock still appear to be in stock. Clicking on the “add to cart” button, however, prompts the visitor to enter their email address to be notified when the product comes back in stock.

This maximizes the number of sign ups as well as gives the store owners the ability to track potential conversions.

Track Potential Conversions – Our module keeps track of not only the number of sign ups for an out of stock product, but the number of “clicks” to the “Add to Cart” button as well. In this way you can effectively measure how many potential sales you could have made on the product had it been in stock.

Make It Easier for Visitors to Sign up for Back in Stock Notifications - When a visitor clicks on the “Add To Cart” button, they are prompted immediately to provide their email required.
