Recommendations increase sales by showing customers products they will likely be interested in based on the current product they are viewing. Frequently Bought Magento extension will automatically give recommendations based on product order data. For example, if someone is viewing an Apple IPhone and customers who previously purchased an Apple IPhone also purchased an Apple Charger, then these products will be displayed to the shopper. This increases the probability that they make multiple purchases. The Bought Together extension is specially suited to showing cross-sell products on checkout pages.
