ProductSync

This extension allows you to import and synchronize tens of thousands of products from your ERP system to your Magento store. And the whole process is managed from the Magento Admin Panel. ProductSync uses Magmi to import and synchronize. Therefore, Magmi must be installed in the Magento directory for this extension to work. However, no knowledge of the Magmi setup is required. The settings are taken in charge by the extension. In fact, you can remove the whole User Interface provided with Magmi. This extension is a simpler and more secure way of keeping your ERP synchronized with Magento.

Adapt it!

The CSV adapter is provided with this extension. You simply upload your CSV file with the products details to a selected folder on the web server and the rest is done automatically. Other adapters, such as those using odbc connections or web services are also available, but not included with this product. If you wish to use ProductSync with a different adapter, contact us. We will be glad to provide you with a solution.

Map it!

In most cases, no programming is necessary. A simple but powerful tool is provided in the Magento Admin Panel for mapping the data from the CSV file to the Magento products attributes. All the attributes must already be set up in Magento before the mapping process can take place.

Schedule it!

This extension uses CRON. You can schedule the synchronization of items to take place from every 5 minutes to once a day. A log containing each synchronize process is available from the Magento Admin Panel. From there, you can view the sync result and access the log files.

Simply install it!

The instructions to install and use ProductSync are very clear and simple to follow (view sample). The installation process uses Magento Connect. You simply upload the purchased extension to install it. The configuration is done from the Magento Admin Panel. No programming knowledge needed.

Extend it even further!

This extension will handle the import/synchro needs of most Magento users. However, it is possible to extend it even further. A code example is provided for those who would like to catch the process after the mapping takes place and just before the synchro occurs. It is possible to further manipulate the data before pushing it to Magento.
