Two slick front-end designs for quick product suggestion navigation
The Search Autocomplete extension comes with two slick product suggestion drop-down designs that are compatible with virtually every Magento theme. While one is more suitable for narrow search fields and the other looks better in greater width, both designs instantly show the suggested product titles, short descriptions and thumbnails, directly linking to the product page.
Both drop-down designs enable your customer to quickly browse through the product suggestions using either his mouse or keyboard. The search field can be optionally expanded when clicked on, automatically adjusting the width of the product suggestions drop-down as well.
Using the link at the bottom of the drop-down menu, the customer can still perform a full store search in case his search query didn't result in the desired product suggestions.
